Vivo V30e Detailed Review - A Powerful Midranger or Just Another Smartphone?

The Vivo V30e is not just another smartphone; it's excellent in design, delivering a premium build at an affordable price. One highlighted feature is its amazing battery life, making it a powerful competitor in the ₹30,000 price range. Although it doesn't reach up to the OnePlus Nord CE4 in battery power, it balances with a slimmer profile.

Let's dive deep into its features. The Vivo V30e boasts a powerful camera design on the front and back. It has 50 MP primary and selfie cameras that deliver solid performance, catching clear and dynamic shots. The design is another highlight, with amazing colour choices like Velvet Red and Silk Blue; it provides a dual-tone rear panel with matte and glossy finishes.

Display Quality: Vivo v30e

But the V30e's build isn't excellent. It lacks Gorilla Glass protection and stereo speakers, common in this price segment. However, it does come with IP64 dust and water resistance.

Coming to the display, the V30e has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz Adaptive refresh rate. But it doesn't have HDR certification; the display is bright and crispy, making it functional even under direct sunlight. The device supports Widevine L1, ensuring HD streaming on OTT platforms to give you a great viewing experience.

Performance Review: Vivo V30e

Regarding the performance, the V30e isn't a very powerful device. It comes with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which handles basic tasks well but falls short for heavy users and gamers.

On the software part, Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, offers a user-friendly experience with software updates for three years, which is again less than Samsung, which gives four years of software updates in the same price segment.

Camera Performance Review: Vivo V30e

The V30e's camera abilities are quite good, particularly in portrait photography. The 50 MP selfie camera captures natural skin tones and clear shots. However, some dynamic range and lens flare issues are easily noticeable in low-light situations.

Battery Life Review: Vivo V30e

Battery life is the strong point for V30e, thanks to its large 5,500 mAh battery and efficient chipset. It effortlessly survives a day, even for heavy users; the device also supports 44 W charging, recharging the battery quickly.

Should You Buy Vivo V30e?

In conclusion, within its price range, the Vivo V30e is great in design, battery life, and camera performance. It's a convincing choice for those prioritizing aesthetics and affordability. However, alternatives like the POCO X6 Pro or OnePlus Nord CE4 might suit gamers seeking more power.
